Deputies conducted multiple vehicle stops during the Youth Alcohol Enforcement Campaign enforcement push.

The Vernon County Sheriff's Office took part in the Youth Alcohol Enforcement Campaign enforcement crackdown from June 5th to June 14th.

The Vernon County Sheriff's Office and NHTSA are part of a national effort to enforce laws related to driving while impaired and reduce the number of impaired drivers on the road.

Vernon County Sheriff Jason Mosher said countywide enforcement netted multiple vehicle stops and summonses.

"Removing intoxicated drivers from Vernon County roadways is one of our top priorities," Sheriff Mosher said in a statement. "If you choose to drink, don't drive. Drunk drivers not only put themselves in danger, they threaten everyone who shares the road with them."
