Reflecting on a Year of Service
As we turn the calendar to 2026, I wanted to take a moment to reach out and express my deepest gratitude to the residents of our county. Looking back on the past twelve months, I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together.
Safety isn't just about patrols and paperwork; it's about the strength of the bonds between our deputies and the neighbors they serve. Whether it was our successful community outreach events, or simply the daily interactions in our county, your trust and cooperation have been the backbone of our success.
Looking Ahead: Our 2026 Priorities
My resolution for the Sheriff's Office this year is simple: To continue building a safer, more connected community. Here is a glimpse of what we are focusing on in the coming months:

Enhanced Training: We are implementing new de-escalation and mental health crisis intervention training to ensure our deputies have the best tools for every situation.

Technology Upgrades: To improve response times and communication, we are rolling out new handheld and in-car radios for the safety our citizens and deputies.
