Drugs, firearms seized in multi-agency raid of rural Nevada home

Charges have been filed against a rural Nevada resident after the execution of a search warrant Monday morning by Detectives of the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office, Nevada Police Department and the Bates County Sheriff’s Office. The suspect, who has been identified as 64-year-old James A Pryor was taken into custody during the execution of the search warrant on E Panama Rd just outside Nevada. According to Vernon County Sheriff Jason Mosher, suspected methamphetamines, drug paraphernalia and several firearms were seized by investigators. Pryor has been charged with two counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Illegal Weapons. Pryor is being held in the Vernon County Jail on a $10,000 cash only bond.
