Vernon County Woman Charged in Child Abuse Case

On 3/17/2025 at 08:30 am, deputies were dispatched to a rural address in southern Vernon county in regards to a potential child abuse case.
After investigating alongside the Division of Family Services, it was found to be accurate. After following up on all leads and conducting a thorough investigation, finding that the child sustained multiple broken bones and was transported to receive medical care, an arrest was made.
Tonya Reynolds of Vernon county was charged with:
Abuse or neglect of a child emotional or physical with no sexual contact. This is a class B Felony. Her bond is $50,000 cash only.
