On February 20th, the Vernon County Sheriff's Office and the Nevada Police Department executed two search warrants as part of an ongoing investigation into illegal narcotics.
 
First Search Warrant - Milo, MO
Law enforcement conducted a search in Milo, where they discovered methamphetamine and a stolen handgun. One female suspect was taken into custody and is currently being held at the Vernon County Jail pending formal charges.
 
Second Search Warrant - Nevada, MO
A separate warrant was executed in Nevada, MO, where law enforcement recovered additional methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. As a result, four more individuals were taken into custody and transported to the Vernon County Jail.
 
Charges will be submitted to the Vernon County Prosecutor's Office for review and formal filing. It is important to note that all individuals involved are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
