On 3-16-2022, the Vernon County Sheriff's Office received a report of a body being located in a field southeast of Nevada, MO. Vernon County Sheriff's Office responded and Sheriff Mosher requested the Missouri State Highway Patrol DDCC to conduct the death investigation.
