Deputies conducted 41 vehicle stops during the St. Patrick's DWI enforcement push.

The Vernon County Sheriff's Office took part in the BUZZED DRIVING IS DRUNK DRIVING enforcement crackdown from March 13 to 20th.

The Vernon County Sheriff's Office and NHTSA are part of a national effort to enforce laws related to driving while impaired and reduce the number of impaired drivers on the road.

Vernon County Sheriff Jason Mosher said countywide enforcement netted 41 vehicle stops, with several arrests and summonses during the campaign for various charges ranging from DWI's, Drugs, Suspended Drivers and even fugitives were apprehended during this campaign.

"Removing intoxicated drivers from Vernon County roadways is one of our top priorities," Sheriff Mosher said in a statement. "If you choose to drink, don't drive. Drunk drivers not only put themselves in danger, they threaten everyone who shares the road with them."
